Leopard Features (IV)

Space
This is what I wanted to get to, haha.
All of us who use a Mac know that it stands out, among many other things, for its user-friendly environment, its functionality, and the minimal loss of time, in favor of increased productivity of every kind.

Spaces, I think, will be the great overlooked feature of Leopard, but it will end up being indispensable.

If you use Exposé, I suppose it has happened to you, as it does to me, that when you use a computer that doesn’t have it, you struggle: having to go down to the bottom bar to select a window is, at the very least, from the last century.

Spaces is the application in charge of managing the virtual desktops on our Mac.
As a picture is worth a thousand words:
Space2

Looking further than the current virtual desktop managers that exist on both Mac and Linux, which have been integrated for much longer and are more commonly used, its functionality is more interesting: you can assign programs to each desktop, so that when you click on one in the Dock, for example, it immediately takes you to the desktop you previously assigned to it. Another interesting option for organization is dragging programs from one window to another Space.

While I write this, a definition for Spaces comes to mind: the Exposé of Exposé, haha.

I've had a Mac since Christmas 2007, and I haven't been able to part with it since. Besides writing at TengoUnMac, I have another blog, a personal one: Enredado I invite you to stop by.
